Sam now has a camera face.

We have had beautiful weather here lately. We've really enjoyed our back porch almost every day. Sam almost fell asleep in his swing yesterday! By far the easiest nap we've had in a while. He notices bugs, and it's pretty interesting to watch the bright green lizards stick out their pink throats to attract the lady lizards.

Lots of eating these days

First trip to the zoo

This little monkey was all alone in its cage. He sure did chatter away at Sam. I think he was trying to convince him to come in and play with him.
Here's a pig!  Lots of food makes him big. He kept grunting, too, just like a pig should. Sam impressed me when he walked right up to that porker and started talking to him.

Tigers!!

Yes, we let our son feed the goats. Only after Trey and I fed them. They didn't chomp for the feed, they used their tongues to pick it up. When Sam wanted to do it, we let 'im! And see how much fun it was.
Overall, we liked the Austin zoo. It wasn't the most expansive (no elephants, seals, etc.), but we enjoyed it and Sam seemed to really like watching the animals and trying to climb the fences. A special thank-you to Papa Jack and Lollie K for purchasing our tickets! We had the world's best family outing--fun and FREE (you can bring your own food and beverages into the zoo).

A few Christmas scenes for Grandma :)

His favorite: the swords.

Dancing with Santa.

A ride with Papa Jack in his new wagon from Grace:

Being precious.

He worked hard all weekend dragging this cooler around the house.
