Is it possible to have a crack free house? Imagine if you had a crack free house and perfect screens on your windows. You could have fresh air and NO BUGS. Sigh.
In other news, school is starting back tomorrow (originally they were going to be out until May 11), now that the president's budget has been passed with relatively little media attention, and we can quit worrying about the piggly flu. Hahaha. Well, I'm not really exposed to much media anyway, though I could be with the news sources available on the internet.
I've been thinking about doing more freezing of meals. Trey and I find that when I make a dish for just the two of us, we get tired of the leftovers after two days and then it goes bad. Too much wasted food. I suppose I just need to start freezing two thirds of the meals I prepare. I'm not having much inspiration with which meals TO prepare in the first place. I should make Trey come up with some. And I want to try the farmer's market here for produce, but I don't think they open until May 16. I think there is one a few miles south of us in Schertz.

Amdro ant poison/bait is what we used and had good success. Pretty sure we got it at wal-mart.
Freezing meals is great: lasagna, chicken spaghetti, and poppy seed chicken all freeze well. I also have a recipe I can send you that is chicken breast, zucchini, carrots, and new potatoes that you freeze in individual packets w/ seasoning & pull out exactly what you need each time.
I think I will try the Amdro bait. Apparently whatever the bug man used attracts the ants and then they die inside. So I now have mounds of dead ants to clean up. And I've discovered some more places that they are coming in.
Sometimes I wonder, if I get rid of these ants, will another, WORSE bug come and replace them? It's very possible.
