Arg.

The ants do persist. And one bit me today. They are getting desperate? I have seen them on clean counter, dairy products, meat and grease products, apple juice, mints, chocolate, the salt shaker, cardboard boxes, the sealed foil on a snack bar, my co-sleeper bassinet, my pillow, the sink, the window, the floor, my body, house plants, the coffee maker, the dresser, my bedside table. I guess you can tell from this that I've seen them in every room of the house, regardless of the presence or absence of food. They also seem to know now when I'm about to smash them, and they try to get away. They are also harder to smash.

I'm afraid they'll decide it's time for revenge, and I'll wake up one night covered in them.

Help?

Do you think LT's bassinet can levitate? DMS

I'll have to check that out. I wish.

I think it is time to call the exterminator back. He needs to know his stuff didn't work. Maybe they can put one of those tents over the house while you and Trey stay at one of Gay's houses.

He's actually already come back once. I think I'm going to try a different exterminator!

One bit you - on dear. Sugar ants don't bother me except from a social standpoint, but I don't want ants biting my baby. Ella has had 4 ant bites and they all go straight to my heart. I killed TWO FIRE ANTS in our bathroom before we went on our trip. Yikes. What do they want in there? Someone tell them to just stay away from my baby.

Definitely the thought that they might bite LT bothers me more than their little annoyances to me. They got on my sourdough yesterday. It was in the oven with the door closed. Ha, but I cooked it all anyway, and hopefully a lot of ants, too. There weren't any on the loaves when I finished cooking them, and hopefully any ant things got burned off during the cooking.

But after one woke me up from a nap trying to bite me, I called Darin, who is the Super Bug Man. He is going to come by Monday to see about taking care of them.
