he's a hot little body

that's why he's usually naked in his pictures. Sometimes he feels a bit cool and I'll put a shirt on him, but usually he gets all sweaty and red if I put clothes on him.
This was Sunday when I got him all dressed to go to church. Unfortunately, he didn't want ME to get dressed, so we ended up not going.
Sam loves cuddle time with his daddy!
His little blocked tear duct has cleared up, and we're waiting to see what color his eyes will be. They are still mostly newborn blue, but are lightening a bit in the center. I say they look grey in the center; Trey says they look yellow. (Side note: Trey's eyes are blue and yellow in the center. I'm not insinuating anything.)
See that fat little tummy! I always try not to notice that my skin looks green or yellow next to his. Should I be jealous of my son's complexion?
Gotta love that sweet little face! He hasn't been using his smile muscles as much since he's discovered he can look around and see different things. He looks serious most of his awake time now.

hey hilary, i started using the sling when he was about 2 mos. old. I wish i had the sling earlier but who knows if I would have used it being the paranoid parent I was/am. i CAN say that it takes practice to figure out how to get comfortable. I don't know which sling you have but ours allows for several different positions. But obviously your little babe will use the cradle position. Now, I had little david when there was still a chill in the air. I doubt i could do that now that it is stifling. As he got older and wanted to look around and sit up I put him stomach to stomach (as seen on the blog). He loved it (most times). I still have to get the position right and fidget a little to make it comfortable for both of us. He gets hot now too after a little while, esp. if he falls asleep. Anyway, there is a way to do this position so that the sling will support his head while he couldn't do that. Now, he doesn't need that. Keep tryin'...if you cutie turns out to be as heavy as david is then you'll want the extra support. did you look it up online? he's growin' fast!
